I visited the Peggy Wood Centre for examination of a breast lump. The centre seemed very well organised, particularly by comparison to another hospital I visited previously for similar tests. I did not have to wait long to be seen initially and at all stages was kept informed of what would happen next. The staff explained all the tests in advance, and everyone I spoke to was both kind and efficient. My lump turned out to be a large cyst which the doctor drained there and then. When I felt faint during this procedure, the nurses were very reassuring; they made sure I had a chance to recover fully before leaving, and gave me a cup of tea. Overall the hospital seemed very clean. I would recommend this hospital - and particularly the Peggy Wood Centre - to anyone who needed similar treatment.
"Could not fault the care I received"
