"Phone answering time"

About: East Surrey Hospital

Someone really needs to address this. You spend ages waiting to get through and then when you asked to be put through to a ward, you are put in a cue and then surprise, surprise, you get cut off and have to start the whole process again and before anyone blames mobiles, this is on a land line.

I am responsible for everything to do with facilities, estates and IT. This includes our £50m building programme, food, cleaning, estates, porters, telephones, IT, transport, car parks and anything similar. Also leading our new Patient Experience Programme.

Dear Terry

Thanks for your comment about being cut off when you phone a ward. I'm not clear whether you're saying that it is a technical problem or that someone is cutting you off?
