I am undergoing daily radiotherapy at Ninewells for cancer, and am given a voucher every day for free parking. This is great: but every day I, and all the other people eligible, have a cardboard voucher where we scratch off the date. This seems to me to be a colossal waste of NHS money.
Why don't you give a monthly voucher, which would have the Registration number of the car (perhaps validated by an NHS stamp by a member of staff to stop swapping vouchers)on which we could scratch off the date each day? The NHS is so strapped for cash, and this seems to me to be an area where some saving could be made.
