I had not been able to pass urine nor open my bowels and I was in agony.
The lady at 111 was very professional and helpful
She asked me some questions then told me to contact my GP surgery and ask for a doctor to come out to me as I could hardly move.
A doctor came very quickly, examined me and arranged for me to go to the local Hospital by ambulance.
Fortunately, not long after he left, I was able to pass some urine and my bowels opened a little.
The pain went as I found I could pass both naturally.
We rang the surgery and asked them to cancel the ambulance request as I was feeling much better.
