"Outstanding Staff Professionalism"

My daughter recently cut her leg quite severely at school. I was reluctant to take her to Ilkeston Hospital as I was unsure whether they would be able to treat it. I am pleased to say that the experience we received at Ilkeston Hospital exceeded all expectations. The nurse who treated my daughter went above and beyond to ensure that my daughter felt safe and comfortable. My daughter needed her leg stitching which was in a difficult position not to mention the angles of the cut. The nurses ensured that my daughter was at ease. They gave her time and even a few laughs during the process of stitching. They supplied gas and air and heaps of reassurance. The aftercare given by the nurse was as efficient and professional as the initial care. I wish to express my huge gratitude to these wonderful nurses and will certainly be spreading the good word.
