Why is it impossible to phone the maxilo facial department? I have been dealing them with over a year now and they just dont answer the phones ever. I have spent days trying to ring them to find out when an appointment I have is that they were supposed to notify me of and I just cant get through. Its absolutely ridiculous. Especially as the reception has a notice up saying x amount of people didnt turn up to their appointments - did it occur to you that answering the phones ever might reduce this or at least give you notice of when someone cant make it? I have sat in the reception there for long periods watching the phone ringing and going unanswered, they also frequently leave reception unnattended especially during lunchtime when most people will be phoning. Its a complete joke.

Secondly I was given a leaflet about an operation I am going to have on my last visit. Pretty much every sentence has a spelling or grammar mistake. Its really making me consider carefully if the department are competent enough to carry out the procedure.
