Called the ward with moderate braxton hicks 4 mins apart and told to go straight in (am high risk due to previous retained placenta x3 and heammorhage x3) was checked by a lovely midwife and was 7cm. While waiting to go to labour ward my dr came in to wosh me luck which was lovely. Went to my room and my son was born with 1 push. Again had retained placenta so had a spinal and manual removal. My midwife came with me and looked after me the entire time. Doctor doing the procedure was brilliant and i was set back to the ward after about 2 hours in theatre. Later in the night i was bleeding heavily and was sorted out by the same doctor and midwife swiftly. The next day the midwife's collegues were all telling them to go home as their shift finished ages ago but they refused as they wanted to finish my notes :) all in all my treatment was amazing and the midwife is a amazing and should be proud of theirself. They did their job and much more
"Excellent maternity"
