"Excellent care and support"

We would like to say a huge thank you to all the staff across the following wards, the birth place, delivery suite, kent ward, Oliver Fischer and pearl ward. Our son was born on 9.6.15 we started in the birth place with Debbie and Jazz our midwifes-who were fantastic providing encouragement and guidance and then stepping back when appropriate to let me labor naturally. They really were fantastic! unfortunately he didn't want to make an appearance there and was moved swiftly to the delivery suite without any hassle, they never once made me feel worried or concerned- he was in the right place. The delivery suite was equally as supportive, even in labor I felt consulted about every decision. We moved onto kent ward after the birth, the midwifes helped me get established with breastfeeding and caring for our new son. On the 15.6.15 was was re-admitted as Max had jaundice and had lost 10.2% of his birth weight, firstly we were seen by a doctor on the Oliver Fischer ward, we were then moved to Pearl. Once again all the staff were fantastic, it was a difficult time after being at home and then going back in. We can't thank everybody enough for all their care.
