"Some staff were polite and made ..."

About: Watford General Hospital

(as the patient),

What I liked

Some staff were polite and made you feel welcome

What could be improved

communication!! no body interacted with eachother making 5x more work for themslevs chasing up things that someone else was suposed to deal with. I went into the Day assesment unit for a simple ruitne blood pressure test. I was spoken to rudely by some incompetant women who then referred me to a midwife, to cut a very long and tedious story short, for a simple blood pressure check i was there 5 hours passed from pillar to post, then was told by the doctor that my pulse was fast, to which i had tried to explain that i was fighting a viral infection, my notes were lost my FHM graph was put in somone else's notes and it took them over an hour to fish it out from someone else's paperwork. this is not the first time this has happened, only last month one of my blood tests had to be taken 3 times because they lost one sample, mislabllled another and only god knows what happned to the 3rd!. they can be great and efficient but some times they can be a joke! i had a great experince with watford 2 years ago with my son, no problems what so ever, but this time is a great contrast, they need to pull thier fingers out!
