"First class treatmeant"

About: Addenbrooke's Hospital

I was admitted to Addenbrookes after standing on a needle that snapped and became embedded in my foot. I was seen at casualty within half an hour then sent to X.Ray. It was decided an operation was necessary. I was put on L5 ward with my own room. I cannot say enough in praise of the staff, nothing was too much trouble. From the health care assistants right up to the consultants I had first class treatment. Well done Addenbrookes. Long live the NHS.

Thank you for taking the time to let us know that you were pleased with the care provided at the Emergency Department and ward L5. Please be assured that I will pass on your kind words to the staff involved, and I hope that you are now recovering well. Patient Advice and Liaison Service
