"Contact with reception staff"

(as the patient),

The care I received from the medical staff was/is excellent

However contact with office/reception staff I found insulting.

I telephoned to ask a question relating to my care and ask how I would received information regarding my care, the person on the other end of the phone who did not identify them self called me a phrase as if I was in my dotage and unable to understand basic information. The member of staff was clearly offended when I asked the person not to address me as this. The person did not apologise. During our conversation the person did not listen to me and even spoke over me when I was trying to explain my reason for calling, in fact I think the person was irritated by my inquiry and rude.
