Would like to give staff feed back my husband attended with a history of upper limb dvt he had stopped his treatment on completion of course and experienced pain in the arm we attended as we were concerned the dvt had returned . Nursing staff and Dr unable to register a reading on O2 sats machine or blood pressure on affected arm . We're told it was a pulled muscle . We were not convinced and attended BRI emergency department where following a contrast CT scan a clot in the subclavian artery was confirmed. He has subsequently had surgery to remove the clot and recommended on anti coagulants.
