"My husbands urinary infection"

About: Croydon University Hospital / General medicine Harmoni / NHS 111

(as a relative),

One Saturday my husband was complaining of feeling very cold, his teeth were chattering and he was shivering badly. I called the doctor but as the surgery was closed I was given another number to call. This took me to the 111 service. They asked me 101 questions but at the end of it they sent paramedics to the house. The paramedics were very thorough, very able and said they thought my husband had an infection which was causing his temperature to rise. The shivering was his body’s way of trying to combat the high temperature.

The paramedics called for an ambulance which came very quickly, my husband and I were bundled into the ambulance and taken to Croydon university Hospital where he was given paracetamol to bring down the temperature and tests carried out to find the cause of the infection. It was a urinary infection for which he was given antibiotics and admitted into hospital. All the hospital staff were really good, I was able to see him every day in the afternoon and evening and he was discharged after 7 days.

Sorry, but I do not understand what you expect me to say or do now that 65 people have read it. Where do I read their individual responses?
