I was admitted for day surgery on Sunday 14th June 2015, From the moment I arrived I was put at ease by the wonderful staff, I had heard bad reviews and was a little bit nervous of what to expect. The staff on dosa ward we're welcoming and extremely informative bout what was going to happen during my operation, everyone was kind, caring and professional to myself and the other patients. I was admitted at 9.30am and promptly checked in and everything was explained to myself. The care I received was excellent from start to finish, the staff were happy and helpful in all ways and even if you were nervous which I was you were made to feel at ease.I was visited by the anaesthetist and also a member of the surgical team previous to being taken to theatre. The person who took me to theatre was so kind and reassuring , made you feel so relaxed. At all times I was explained to and didn't feel one but nervous. The staff in the recovery room were the kindest and friendliest people I have met and the care given to myself was first class, when back in dosa ward waiting to be discharged the staff nurse was lovely and also the receptionist and the nurse looking after me. I was a little unwell and they helped me through it all. I would like to say thankyou to you all for your excellent care and relaxing atmosphere. thankyou again and keep up the good work even if it was a Sunday you ladies and gentlemen excelled yourself. I wouldn't hesitate to have surgery there again. Although the hospital looks awful and rundown the care was excellent
