(as a relative),

My husband experienced excruciating pain like an explosion in his twenty year old hip replacement. The two paramedics arrived very quickly and were brilliant James and Dave. They were both very caring and needed support from an ambulance team with a chair and strong pain relief to get him downstairs.

Lindsey and Lewis the ambulance team administered pain relief and then the four of them did a great job of getting my husband downstairs in a very tiny quirky cottage. They took us to Southmead A and E and stayed until we were settled in. We cannot thank the four of you enough. My husband is awaiting a revision hip replacement as his replacement is broken in two.

It is always rewarding to hear that our staff are continuing to provide excellent care to our patients when they need us most.
