If anyone with children has any problems or stress you know where to go...Sure Start.

I first came to the Children's Centre for support with money, but as I got to know them they supported with lots of other things including, getting out of an abusive relationship and HomeTalk with one of my children.

The way that Claire has worked with me is brill, she has put a lot of support in place for me and my children. I thought that I would never me strong again, but because of the support I have had I am now strong enough to stand on my own two feet and my children are more settled in school, nursery and at home. Claire made sure that my older children got help and support that helped them too.

I am more confident because of Sure Start, the staff are brill and when Claire is not there I feel I can still go there and someone will help. I have been on a course with Sure Start and I would not have done this before. Kristina supported me in the course and I am now even going to put my name down to go on a confidence and assertiveness course with Sure Start soon.

I now know that I can do things with my children on my own, I even took them camping last week! And, their smiles made it all worth while.

Hi

Thank you for taking the time to post your experience of your local Children's Centre support and for letting us know what a difference it has made to you and your family.

It is always good to hear when people like yourself have now got the confidence to deal with life and the little things that come along that sometimes leaves us feeling a bit low.

I hope that you can utilise your local Children's Centre Services in the future to benefit your family's changing needs
