I have been receiving treatment at both hospitals - St Peters and Ashford - and I have nothing but admiration for my consultant. My consultant explains what is involved in the procedure, makes you feel at ease as best they can, which is not a easy task when you know your back is going to be used like a dart board. The consultant took the time to come and see me in recovery, which means a lot to a nervous patient, despite having one of the busiest clinics. All the other patients I have spoken to over the months, feel the same as myself about our consultant. Not forgetting the support staff, they all do a wonderful job, and the poor nurse who's knuckles turned white whilst we were holding hands -sorry.
