My elderly aunt went into Kettering General Hospital after a fall.
She developed bed sores and is now in a nursing home who are excellent and doing all the can to heal these sores. The ones on her heels are now full recovered, but the one on her bottom has been diagnosed as too severe to ever heal.
I do think better care in the prevention of bed sores should be an essential in good quality nursing.
Has anyone else experienced this?
