"Car Parking"

I came to the hospital by car on a Saturday evening and unexpedly was admitted until the Moday evening. My car was left in the park and on discharge I was charged £12 . The attendant said that I must pay for a weekly ticket. Had I known that I was to be admitted I would have arranged to be dropped off at the hospital and collected on my discharge. The cost of parking is extremely high and does not reflect well on the otherwise excellent services of the hospital.
