I was diagnosed with Bradycardia, and had a pre-assessment where they did ECG and bloods and swabs for MRSA. Then two weeks later had a pacemaker fitted under local anasthetic. The operation took about an hour. The Surgeon and theatre staff were very re-assuring and did an excellent job. In fact I have to say that all members of Cardiology Department were fantastic, very helpful, knowledgeable, and very caring. The staff manning the wards from the nurses to auxillary staff were briiliant and the cleanliness of the wards was to a high standard. I have nothing but praise for everyone at Pinderfields.
