"Granddads hospital care"

My granddad received care following a stroke last year. He survived for 10 days following his stroke and the hospital were, on the whole, fantastic at caring for him and supporting our large family through this difficult time. My grandma gets easily confused but the doctors dealt with her with respect and dignity when explaining what had happened, ensuring that the rest of the family also understood, but putting her at the heart of the decision making process.
