"Grateful Appreciation"

About: Good Hope Hospital

My late mother spent five days on Ward 10 Richard Salt Unit last month. I would like on behalf of the family to express my gratitude for the loving care and devotion shown by each and everyone working on that Ward who came into contact with her. All her needs were met and nothing was too much trouble. You are a great dedicated team. Sadly my mom was reaching the end of her life which had been long and well lived and although it was sad to let her go, the care she received until her last breath was wonderful. People knock our NHS and staff making future patients fearful of going into hospital as my mom was having heard so many stories. I would say to anyone who has to go into hospital, do not be afraid, you will be well taken care of. Thanks again and all good wishes for the future to everyone. If you had wings, everyone would know you are all Angels.

May I firstly extend my sincere condolences to you and your family on the sad loss of your mother.

I would like to thank you very much for taking the time to post your feelings about your experience on Ward 10 at Good Hope Hospital.

I know that the Ward Manager Nicole Dunn and Matron for Ward 10 Debbie Williams will be thrilled to read your feedback and I will forward it to them so they can ensure it is communicated to the whole ward team.
