I came to endoscopy dept for a gastroscopy and colonoscopy yesterday. this being my first time for any sort of hospital procedure and the nature of the procedure caused me to be very anxious. however, I was pleased to say the whole thing went very smoothly and all the staff were fantastic. from the nurse that dealt with me initially, the team during the procedure and the recovery room nurse and discharge nurse. I have to say a special thanks to the doctor that performed the procedures, they were amazing. The doctor was so friendly and caring, putting me completely at ease. I can only say a massive thank you to all concerned.
