We both disabled and one at 63 one at 59, my wife was referred to Southmead following rubbish treatment at bath. The surgeon operated and was trusted 110% with the staff. After care was beyond caring, retaining dignity. It expected month in hospital she ready to leave after 9 days. Yes continued care is ever bit as good. Nothing left to chance sure gives feeling of well being. I'm sorry if people cant accept truth and honest views but we stand by them. For me, I have been over weight for some 20 years following heart issues. I had given up finding help diets ect, I failed them all, but I was referred to Southmead Obesity Clinic and after 2 sessions I was able to see why and where I wrong. I found the care from original appointment to end, your not judged, made to feel guilty, just plain simple truth. Facts no enforced diet I call it touch taste look advice it cut my intake by some 45%. My issue lack mobility now the only hurdle. If you have child over wieght then get on get them seen and if you care write mp any one get it started in school early age give a human a life give kids a hope but most of all support the staff for this inovative approach to obeseity. Please excuse spelling old age ha ha respectfully george Thank you to the surgeon for extra years with wife I think after 40 it becomes cloudy. And tubby clinic for showing I'm not a loser.
