"The Hospital is a success"

About: The Tunbridge Wells Hospital

After a referral by my doctor I found the wait and process through A&E frustrating, but I do understand why A&E can never be any other way. I found the personnel in A&E very professional and helpful. A special shout to the nurse whose attitude and way they dealt with patients frustration (including my own) whilst keeping a positive demeanour was remarkable. Once I was transferred to a ward I became aware of the hours some of the doctors were working, but all still retained a very professional , confident and efficient manner. I found the room and the amenities with-in very good, with the ease with which I could alter the bed settings was important to how comfortable I was during my 5 day bed bound period. The addition of wifi (which worked properly continuously through my 5 day stay) also made a significant difference to my comfort In summary, the hospital is an efficient modern hospital, and every person, including cleaners, dinner people,nurses, doctors and consultants were all polite , friendly and professional. Thank you Pembury Hospital, even though I do hope not to stay again soon.
