I am a cancer patient, Firstly can I thank the staff from my breast clinic through to the sefton suite:) keep up the good work in treating me. You are all amazing. This week however I was admitted into A&E and was treated for a blood clot near my Picc line in my arm, the staff in A&E were fantastic and reassuring, they do not stop for one minute, they are amazing. I was then admitted to ward 29, even though one of the senior doctors didn't have a clue regarding my care, as they didn't even read my notes properly this left me feeling very anxious and upset as I didn't know what my outcome was or who I could speak to? Then a wonderful nurse talked through all my treatment with me, what was happening regarding my aftercare, I felt that the nurse had the time for me, they were very patient and caring, an absolute credit to your service. Can you please pass on my thanks.
