"My Daughter Went Through Hell"

No Saturday night/Sunday morning I attended with my 20yr old daughter. We arrived by ambulance, she had suddenly developed chest and back pains that were extremely severe, so severe that she couldn't lie still and cried out in agony. She was examined in A & E, heart checked, was told to keep still for the reading, which she was finding almost impossible. Other tests were done i.e. blood pressure, temperature,pulse all fine, also blood tests. Constantly thrashing about and crying out in pain, I cannot comfort her. I asked for some pain relief for her, was told that the dr. would need to see her first. A urine sample is mentioned as being needed, no instruction on how to do this is mentioned. Dr comes in to examine her, she is still thrashing about and crying out. The doctor feels down her spine, tummy etc, asks her to tell them when it hurts & questions why she is not telling them, she is trying to tell him that it hurts all of the time so no different if they touches her. They asked the nurse to give her some painkillers, she is given 4 tablets, don't know what. The urine test is mentioned again. She has her legs up and continues to thrash about. Pain does not go away, she is given some more pain killers, but they do not touch the pain.The Dr said that they can't find anything wrong can't be anything like Sciatica because of her movements. Asks if the urine sample has been done yet, I asked them how we would do this and they informed me that we should use a little cardboard container ( a little bigger than an egg box segment) was what to use. We were not given any help or advice, I asked a nurse where the toilet was and they pointed me in the direction of it. I held my daughter up and got her to the toilet where she did a sample. I had to get her back to the bed and return to pick up the sample. Again no-one helped. Dr came back in, daughter still thrashing about, they asked why she only cried out when they were walking past, which was absolutely ridiculous, how would she even know that they were walking past. The doctor said that they would give her something to calm her down, nurse gave her a tablet, (it may have been a Vallium), this also had no effect and over the next hours she was given two separate measures of Morphene, nothing had any effect.Dr came back and asked if I wanted another Dr to see her, said that the blood tests were all fine, except one showed some Anaemia, should take this up with GP. Other Dr comes, says that they can't find anything wrong, they were discounting Sickle Cell Anaemia, because of her age in that it had not been diagnosed previously. Otherf Dr comes back in, she is still in terrible pain, asks for some sleeping pills they said that they cannot give her anything more. They insinuated by their manner that she is pretending to be ill, said that she managed to walk to the toilet ok. They asked her in a threatening way if she wants to stay in hospital, she is too ill to reply. I will continue this by email.
