What I liked

What could be improved

all the staff in A & E need to go back to training and learn some people skills.

They need to change the staff around, they have been there too long.

They treat a person as a number and not as a patient and this is unacceptable

My son was attacked and hit around the head several times around by a glass object; later on got taken in the hospital and was sitting around waiting to be seen for 3 hours.

My son also asked for some painkillers which was not given. I understand that some patients die from head injuries. But where he was not being sick the treatment was appalling. MY sons head was bleeding, he could not see out of his eyes and was in terrible pain. While we was sitting in A + E, the nurses were sitting were laughing and joking talking about Coraline's holiday and this at the expense of the patients.

I feel this should be taken further as it is unacceptable and every nurse/doctor should reach to the patients needs as soon as possible. I understand that they are busy and pushed, but consideration and respect shouldn't go a miss, but this clearly lacks at Lister hospital.

I intend to take this further.
