"Unorganised"

About: Royal Liverpool University Dental Hospital

I have been waiting since March to get my wisdom tooth removed by the dental hospital. I received a consultation appointment in April for the 2nd June. I knew straight away I was on holiday that week and phoned to change the appointment. I waited a few weeks as I thought they would send out a new appointment. When I phoned them again they said they had no record of the fact that I couldn't make it and the next available appointment is for the 16th July. I have since been in severe and agonising pain that has ruined my holiday and have had to pay private fees to get it out sooner. This hospital is an unorganised mess and waiting lists are ridiculous. To be told they literally can not see me any sooner is a joke. I have been taking tramadol and naproxen which do not relieve my pain. This is an indication that I urgently need this tooth out, I have not been able to go back to work so I am missing out on pay. I'm very annoyed with the service.
