"Fantastic care on Tolgus ward"

I came home last week after spending a few days on Tolgus ward after having a hysterectomy, I was really apprehensive and scared about everything but I can honestly say that the staff were brilliant and reassuring and made me feel totally at ease. The consultant and anethenetist went through everything before hand and the hca which took me down to theatre was wonderful. I had a long wait in recovery as my bed was not available for some time but this is no fault of the staff involved and they made sure I was comfortable and kept me informed at all times of what was going on, The ward was extremely busy throughout the night with emergencies coming in and a few problems but at all times the staff were attentative and nothing. Was too much trouble at all. I would like to thank the hca who took me down to theatre and the member of staff who looked after me in recovery and of course the hca who looked after me the day after surgery. The night staff unfortunate I was too groggy to catch there names but they were wonderful. The nurses work extremely hard and I feel they have a strong support with the hca's, ap's admin and ancillary staff. Thank you once again for your care.
