"Twice I have emailed general enquiries ..."

About: Lister Hospital

(as the patient),

What could be improved

Twice I have emailed general enquiries over two months to ask what I need to do to obtain my late father's medical notes as he died at the hospital, and no one has replied. There is no point having an email address if no one is either reading them or can't be bothered to reply.

We're not sure what has happened as the Trust's general enquiries e-mail address is monitored daily, including over weekends, by the same team that reviews the comments, such as yours, placed on the website. We have just double-checked the general enquiries e-mail address account and within the last two months we have received two such enquiries, but from different people and about different patients. Both received also have received responses.

This work leads us to believe that, for whatever reasons, the e-mails did not get through. If you are willing to resend your request to generalenquiries.enh-tr@nhs.net, then we will ensure that it is addressed as a matter of urgency.
