Unfortunately this a complaint about our experience. I took my mother for her six monthly check. Her appointment was for 11. 00am and within a few minutes of that time we were seen by the nurse, who took her blood pressure and weighed her.
After that it was back into the waiting room to wait to see a consultant, so far so good. However more than 40 minutes later we were still waiting and on asking if there was a problem I was told that there were still two more people to see before my mother, which I found hard to believe and as we couldn't wait any longer we left.
When you visit a hospital without an appointment long waits are understandable, I have experienced a few, but 40 minutes when you have an appointment is not right. I don't know if it's your system (it's not the first time my mother has had a long wait)or there was mistake but if this is how it works then it is wrong.
