I had the absolute pleasure to receive much needed help from Jenna Brown (Occupational Therapist) at Wishaw General Hospital over the last few weeks.

Jenna has been an amazing help to me, I was having a lot of issues with my P. I. P. award from the DWP, Jenna was able to assist me with a letter that detailed my situation to the DWP and the tribunal in a way they could understand, she went out her way to arrange this letter within a day as there is very little time allowed to collect any medical opinion (Only 4 weeks is allowed by DWP).

I honestly couldn't be more happy with the help I've received, everyone I have met at this department has been friendly, engaging, professional and more than happy to go the extra mile for my benefit, from the very cheerful receptionist right through to the Occupational Therapists, they are a credit to NHS Lanarkshire and Wishaw General..

Thank you so much for your extremely positive posting regarding your recent experience of the Occupational Therapy Team at Wishaw General Hospital. I will ensure that Jenna and the team are made aware of the difference they made to you.

I am personally delighted that you found the staff to be friendly and professional, and that the prompt assessment report and the way you were dealt with, helped to progress your PIP award. We will ensure that we learn from you comments and endevour to continue this approach with other patients who use our service.
