"His behaviour is improved"

About: Sutton Central Children's Centre

(as the patient),

I have a little boy age 7 and sleep had been a problem for months. He was waking in the night for up to 2 hours, waking me, dad and his brother and has started banging on his bedroom wall and disturbing our neighbours. It would take him hours to fall asleep at bedtime. We were all tired and his behaviour was all over the place. I was having to have a daytime nap to catch up on sleep.

We are now a happier family. Attending the Sleep Tight workshop has made a big difference and his behaviour has improved. He is now getting over 10 hours sleep a night. Before he would have only 6 hours a night. If he wakes in the night it is only for up to 10 minutes and he does not disturb the rest of the family.

Thank you for taking the time to post your comment, it is really fantastic to hear you are now so settled with you son's sleep and that the positive impact of this is one the whole family and your neighbours are benefitting from. The workshop is great and the worker who delivers the group and supports families with sleep issues is very passionate about this work as we know it makes such a great difference to family life, a child's development and the emotional improvement for all. It is great to hear we have supported you with your son's sleep issue and I am happy to say more and more parents are accessing this support across the County of Nottinghamshire now, thanks again
