"Ovarian cancer"

About: Royal Devon & Exeter Hospital (Wonford)

I was diagnosed with oc in Nov 2014. After recovering from the shock of a cancer diagnoses I received nothing but 5 star care. At my first meeting with the consultant, they told me that the whole team would be there to look after and care for me. Nice words I thought but the reality of them has been truly wonderful. From the caring nursing staff on Wynard Ward, to the equally wonderful nurses on Cherrybrook, to the cancer nurses and of course to the consultant who came to see me when I was in the recovery ward to tell me how well the surgery had gone. I now await the results of my latest scan. I do not know what the future holds for me but the care I have received helps me to remain confident. Thank you!
