I came in following a missed miscarriage medical procedure that had failed. I didn't know it was unsuccessful until after the scan showed that I had not passed what i needed to 10 days later. I then had to wait a further 6 days for the d and c procedure which seemed like a long wait (19 days after I found out that I'd had a miscarriage in total) However when I arrived on the day ward for the operation I felt looked after and was kept up to date with all the information. This was an exceptionally difficult day for me and I was slightly emotional. All the staff members were supportive and helpful giving me lots of reassurance which I found comforting. I was very apprehensive being needle phobic and this being my first operation, but I would like to say a huge thank you for making me feel slightly less worried and the reassurance that helped me through this very sad and difficult time. The nurses, surgeon, anesthetist, and health care assistants the whole team all helped me in this process and nothing was too much hassle for them, for me I was very happy with the hospital staff.
"Regular procedure after miscarriage."
