"Derby Royal Hospital - Simply excellent!"

I am writing following attending Derby Royal Hospital with my mother who was undergoing surgery on 5-6-15 and did not feel that I could possibly allow this experience to pass without leaving a review. All too often are people so quick to share negativity but my experience was positive from the moment I walked through the door. Whilst all personnel who I interacted with were 100% committed and excellent, there were two people who stood out from the crowd and I would be hugely appreciative if you would share with them my positive and very grateful feedback. They were in the Theatre waiting area and Stepdown. They were amazing and not only showed my mum compassion and respect - they were so comforting to me - who was a little tearful to say the least! They totally put me at ease and I knew the most important woman in my life was in such safe hands. If you could please extend my thanks I would be so very grateful. Derby Royal Hospital is an example of sheer excellence and every single member of staff who I interacted with (including the porter) showed just how right you have it and that investing in your staff is worth every penny.
