The Nottm City Rehab Clinic should have a mention for the quality of care of patient care by the volunteers. It is well known that older people do not drink enough and particularly in hot weather can be a risk of dehydration, which can lead to confusion and other effects. In addition some older people, who may be looking after themselves but have less money and/or inclination to eat 'properly' after a partner has died, do not have an adequate food intake.
I don't know who has trained the volunteers at this clinic area but they offer drinks at regular intervals. Any patient sitting down waiting is very politely approached and offered a hot - it seems chocolate is the favorite - or cold drink.. Additional drinks are offered at times.
"very helpful volunteers in rehab clinic"
