"Sleep clinic - high marks"

About: Worthing Hospital

i have attended sleep clinics at several different hospitals, over about 18 years, including some very highly rated NHS and private sector. However, although very small and apparently given a pretty low profile in the greater scheme of things, the Worthing clinic comes out well on top for listening to patients and providing them with the best care and equipment possible. The waiting area is just a couple of chairs in the corridor outside a ward, with no reading matter or ways of passing the often long waits. And being tucked away on the top floor of the west wing it can be difficult to find and to reach. The rooms are small, crowded and chaotic. But for those of us who understand our condition and how it can be treated, patient care is unsurpassed. I have visited Worthing twice and each time come away highly satisfied. Thanks
