I visited the Neurophysiology department yesterday for a Carpel Tunnel Syndrome test. The map got me nearly there and a very helpful passing member of staff asked if they could help and pointed out the rest of the way for me. At the department I was greeted welcomely by the smiling receptionist who made me feel at ease. Although I was early I felt I had just enough time to send a couple of texts and then I was called for. I was looked after very well with plenty of information about what was going to happen all the way through. Although my pain problem in the end was not from Carpel Tunnel Syndrome but something more complicated I was satisfied that the staff and later the consultant investigated the problem thoroughly and produced a conclusion that was explained to me and I was able to understand it. Everyone was cheery and chatty throughout my visit and I felt totally unhurried.
