"Antenatal waiting times"

About: The Royal London Hospital

I was referred by my GP to go to the Royal London Hospital's antenatal clinic due to needing an emergency blood test to rule out any problems I may have with my lungs as I was complaining of chest pains and breathing difficulties. I went there at 5:00pm and waited till midnight to be seen by a GP there it is by far the worst service in Royal London Hospital and I am absolutely shocked and saddened at how this hospital has deteriorated over the years. I was even more shocked to find that they only had 1 doctor covering both the delivery ward and the antenatal clinic. I am left wondering how the largest hospital in the UK recieving by far the most of the money from the NHS fails to adequately have doctors available for both the delivery ward and the antenatal clinic. This hospital should be investigated for being understaffed as its putting patients care and safety particularly those requiring maternity care at great risks.

We value all patient feedback and have passed this over to the head of midwifery at The Royal London to see.
