"Hearing test."

About: Sittingbourne Memorial Hospital

Went here for a hearing test. I had had a private one previously but decided to see if I could save money and go for an NHS hearing aid. Was told by the audiologist to "move that bag out the way of the door as someone could trip on it" when it was clearly nowhere near the door. An amateur two minute test was carried out (20+ minutes in Specsavers!) and then I was told by the audiologist "nothing wrong with your hearing, absolutely normal, go and wait to see the consultant". I spoke to the consultant and told them the test results were nothing like my private test and I had also had no nerve conduction test done. Absolutely disgusted with the audiologist and the consultant wasn't that much better. Think I'll go back to private - completely farcical and amateur facilities!
