"Cataract surgery - top class care and top class..."

Had a cataract operation on my left eye yesterday in the Day Case Unit. The NHS at its best - attentive and sympathetic nurses backing up a skilful anaesthetist and a top class ophthalmic surgeon. Through the whole 4 month process from initial consultation through pre-operative examination and the surgery itself I was never kept waiting long and was always treated with the utmost respect and care. Oh, and the end result was perfect vision
