"WOW what a pleasure that was"

About: Wharfedale Hospital

I attended Wharfedale Minor Injuries hospital today with a nasty splinter in my finger. Right from the word go I was handled in a very professional manner. The nurse was fantastic and took a very large splinter out of my finger in a very professional manner. The nurse sought advice when required from another nurse and the other nurse did not jump in but was very helpful and gave fantastic guidance that both helped the nurse and gave them visible confidence in getting it out. I was then bandaged up by a very attentive and friendly nurse. I feel that this hospital is run very well in that they all seem to enjoy their work and are very kind and professional. Well done you are all valued by us great job. Tim Francis

Dear Tim Francis.

Thank you for taking the time to post your views regarding your recent experience at Wharfedale General Hospital.

I was very happy to read that you have had a positive experience.

I have passed your kind words onto Local Care Direct who are responsible for the Minor injuries unit at Wharfedale and have asked that they share these with their staff so that they too can know of the wonderful work that they are doing.

With kind regards

Rosie
