This story has been posted by Healthwatch Tameside on behalf of a member of the public who asked not to have their name published. They said...

This gentleman has recently been discharged from Tameside Hospital after an 11 day stay in Ward 43. The food was very good and the treatment excellent. He feels Tameside Hospital is unjustly criticised.

His GP is also excellent – Lockside Surgery in Stalybridge.
