What I liked
There is very little to commend this hospital, where my wife was treated with total indifference. After a procedure that went wrong I was left to run round for my wife, seeing to her needs and trying to get some pain relief for her.
What could be improved
A continuity of medical staff, with at least some knowledge of the history of the patient, rather than many of them trying to decypher the scribbled notes in the patient folder by some or all of the attending medical staff.
Anything else?
My wife and I were very distressed when during a conversation with a doctor, he let slip that the procedure that had caused my wife so much pain and blood loss, did in fact go wrong and a vital organ was in fact damaged. No mention of this was given at the time and no formal explanation or apology forthcoming.
"There is very little to commend ..."
