My daughter was transferred to ward 16 early Friday morning as there weren't any beds available on our local hospital. The staff were so warm and welcoming. It's a very daunting time taking your child to hospital especially an unfamiliar one and I really felt the staff acted with genuine care and compassion and I felt they really listened. The hygiene standards were extremely high. I felt my daughter was in safe hands the whole time. I was really impressed by the education service on site that provided my daughter with a great distraction during the times she was awake/ well enough! It was a highlight for her and she can't wait to tell her teacher about it on Monday. I would like to offer the staff my heartfelt thanks and appreciation, please pass this on to them.
