After waiting to hear from one of the bigger Hospitals I was relieved to get a call from Shepton Mallet Centre. .Attended assement ,got Op date and job done and completed just like that. At the time I felt like I could have done with a bit more time in recovery to sleep it off but as I seem to be OK now it must have been right

At Shepton Mallet NHS Treatment Centre, we aim to provide efficient high quality patient focused care and recognise the importance of ensuring a seamless and smooth process from start to finish so it was lovely to hear that we have succeeded in that aim. We are sorry if you felt rushed in any way during your recovery. We do have strict criteria that needs to be met before we discharge a patient home to ensure this is done safely but if a patient expresses any concern themselves and feels unready to leave, we would of course, always give them extra time to recover. We are sorry if this was not offered to you on this particular day.
