"Excellent service at the Cardiology Department,..."

I attended my appointment at the Cardiac Department yesterday (for atrial fibrillation) and could not fault the excellent service I received. I was seen, on time, by the cardiac specialist nurse who carefully explained the procedures I would be undertaking. Each procedure was then professionally completed by friendly, knowledgeable nurses and technicians, who took the time to explain each routine as we went along. Finally, I was seen again by the cardiac specialist nurse who, with all the test results in front of them, patiently & comprehensively explained the results (very good thank goodness!), before conferring with the Cardiac Consultant who agreed with their findings. Th nurse also briefed me on what further tests I would need at a future date. The whole department was very well run, with a caring, professional team & is a credit to both CGH & the NHS.
