"Tumour removed June 2015 Right Thigh"

About: The Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital (Stanmore)

All the staff were excellent, all deserve medals for their commitment to their work. Everyone was so helpful, professional and pleasant. The Duke of Gloucester ward was kept spotless by a cleaner whose name I forget, forgive me but I was slightly drugged most of the time. I want to stress that everyone helped me so well trough my operation. The food was good with plenty of choice. Pain management and regular checking was wonderful, I cannot praise the staff highly enough. How things have changed since I had the misfortune to spend 3 nights in the old Boscombe Hospital in Bournemouth back in 1986 - I have memories that would turn your stomache! I would say to anyone about to be admitted to Stanmore, relax and let the experts take care of you. Nick Lodge 06.06.2015.
